Plastic pollution – what a waste!

By December 8, 2017No Comments

TRASHED MIX WITH TEXTAround eight million tons of our plastic waste enter the oceans from land each year and is one of biggest threats to dolphins and whales.

In the final episode of Blue Planet II this Sunday (BBC One December 10th @ 8.00pm GMT), viewers will see a sperm whale try to eat a blue plastic bucket which becomes lodged in its mouth. This is just the latest in many horrifying examples of how plastic waste is devastating marine life and why it is now vital that we all act now to bring about positive change.

For years, people have thought that the oceans were so vast and the inhabitants so infinitely numerous, that nothing could have an effect on them – we now know that is wrong.

Small changes can make a huge difference – please ditch plastic today!

Check out this latest merchandise design on our online shop, to help raise awareness about this critical issue, save marine life and stop polluting their ocean home.
