Marine Connection campaign ad wins prestigious award

No containment for entertainment, dolphin captivity, marine connection, tanks, entertainmentIn December 2019, with support from the creative company Communicorp UK, Marine Connection launched its ‘No Containment For Entertainment’ campaign.

Over several weeks four adverts, each with a different message, were broadcast on UK radio stations daily – specifically aimed at raising awareness about the plight of dolphins and whales in captivity.

Our ‘Jedol & Sampal’ advert has been chosen by Sara Rose, Executive Creative Director for Saachi & Saachi as this month’s winner of the Aerial Awards – celebrating the very best of British radio advertising and inspiring the listening audience. In order to reach our goal of ending the keeping of dolphins and whales for entertainment, it is vital that campaigns have an impact; we are therefore delighted that these adverts reached so many who may never have known, or understood, the effect that captivity has on these magnificent marine mammals.
