For the past 8 months, Marine Connection has been working with Ben Gibson, a marine and natural history filmmaker and photographer who has just finished his 3rd year at Falmouth University in the UK. Ben has been working on his film, CAPTIVE, which addresses the subject of orcas in captivity, and comparing that to the life of their wild counterparts. He has chosen to focus specifically on orcas Wikie and her son Keijo, currently held at Marineland, France, and we will work with him to continue the story as their uncertain future unfolds.
