Celebrated annually on 8 June around the world, this year’s theme is ‘The Ocean: Life & Livelihoods’  reminding everyone of how integral the global ocean is to life on Earth and why it’s important for us to protect the big blue, not only for mankind but for the remarkable 700,000 species to which its home, including the majestic whales. By limiting or stopping fish consumption to skipping the use of single-use plastics, we all have a role to play.  As today is World Ocean Day, please take a moment to consider one change you can make in your daily life to make a difference to the future of our blue planet.
