A note of thanks to Virgin Holidays and United Airlines

Thank you for deciding to put the welfare of dolphins and whales before profit by ending your support of SeaWorld.

We hope that others will follow your lead, and just for one moment think what it is like to:

  • live life in captivity having done nothing unlawful
  • never see the ocean
  • have to perform or interact on demand just for a food reward
  • have no freedom of choice on who you interact with, when and how
  • have a shortened lifespan due to disease brought on by physical and mental stress

It is a sincere hope that in the future dolphin and whale sanctuaries will be established around the world to house those dolphins and whales who do find a way out – to stop performing and live a life free of confinement.

Supporting the belief that we do not belong in these tanks, you have taken a step towards a more ethical and responsible approach by ending your support of marine parks, in particular, stopping selling tickets to/promoting SeaWorld to your customers, and for that, we thank you sincerely.
