Ella’s beach clean-up – reducing plastic pollution

Humpback whale, entanglement, plastic pollution, Ella Pringle, Marine Connection

Marine Connection’s youngest ambassador, Ella Pringle was so devastated after learning that a humpback whale calf recently died after becoming entangled in fishing rope on the east coast of Scotland,  that she has set up a Beach Clean Challenge – to pick up 1500kg of beach litter/plastic pollution this year.

By sponsoring just 1p for each kg of beach litter collected would mean a maximum donation of £15 towards protecting the health of our shoreline, ocean and marine life, including of course dolphins and whales.

We are so proud of Ella and other youngsters like her who want to help clean up our seas and oceans.  Please help Ella meet her challenge to stop more whales from dying needlessly by fishing gear, plastic and other ocean debris by pledging your donation of 1p per kg today.

Thank you!
