Today thousands of advocates including we here at Marine Connection are taking part in a global virtual event to increase public awareness highlighting the plight of captive dolphins, whales and porpoises worldwide.
Marine Connection believes that no cetacean should be taken from the wild or bred in captivity, and campaigns worldwide against them being held in confinement. Since 1993 the UK has been dolphinaria free and we continue our work to ensure that current strict legislation remains in place in order to stop any potential facility from being established.
Our work will continue around the world until no cetacean is under threat of capture or confinement, there should be ‘No Containment For Entertainment’
