With ongoing concerns over conditions for the dolphins and orcas at Marineland, Antibes, reports have been received from our colleagues One Voice, on the death of a dolphin calf at the facility.  Born on 23 December the young dolphin survived for just 2 days.

We are also deeply worried over the apparent decision by French authorities, agreeing to relocate the three orcas held at this facility – Inouk, Wikie and Keijo, to Japan.  The transfer is reported to be due to occur in early January 2024, Marine Connection is, however, continuing to support the campaign to secure a better future for them, rather than be simply transferred to another tank, and will not lose hope.   We will update as soon as any further news/confirmation is received.
