A documentary film from Reiwa, featuring animal behavioural psychologist, long-term colleague and campaigner Jakub Banasiak, discusses the continued take of dolphins from the wild in Japan and other areas to supply marine parks, the dramatic impact captivity has on these highly social marine mammals, and general mis-education of the general public by this industry.
The film also highlights how tour operators contribute to supporting this form of so-called ‘entertainment’ by promoting and selling tickets to their customers.
