The partnership between Middle East developer Miral and SeaWorld is on schedule to open SeaWorld Abu Dhabi in 2022 – prior to the opening of the facility, the partnership will open the SeaWorld Research, Rescue, Rehabilitation and Return Centre on the Yas Island site.
The new park’s design shows no plans to display killer whales – apparently the new facility will integrate up-close animal experiences, large attractions, aquarium and the latest technology for visitor engagement.
The Abu Dhabi park will be the first of the SeaWorld brand to be established outside of the USA.
