It has been reported that two wild orcas have been captured in Russian waters at Nicholay Bay in the Khabarovsk region.
Colleagues from Ocean Friends who are monitoring the captures say the whales were taken onboard the vessel ‘Yuri Shvetsov’ and placed in containers (the blue tarpaulin lining can be seen here in the image).
