30 November this year is Giving Tuesday – a day which is recognised as the world’s biggest day where everyone, everywhere can do something to champion a cause close to their heart. With France soon to adopt a new animal welfare law which will see a gradual ban on the use of cetaceans in dolphinariums, we need to continue our work to influence other countries that have facilities holding captive dolphins and whales, both in Europe and around the world to also follow suit. We also need to ensure that once laws are in place that these are upheld and enforced, however, to do this and achieve greater protection and justice for captive dolphins and whales, we need your support.
