Earlier in the year, Marine Connection supported a petition raised by young Spanish campaigner Olivia Mandle to have dolphinaria banned in the country. Olivia’s petition has now gained over 113,000 signatures, but we now need your help even further.

Please take a moment to read and sign her manifesto which our organisation is also supporting, asking the Spanish Government to approve the necessary legislation to achieve the scheduled closure of all dolphinaria in Spain.

Spain has the largest number of dolphinaria in Europe holding a mix of captive cetaceans, the majority being bottlenose dolphins but also including orca and beluga whales; making the country out of step with other countries which are moving toward closure of such facilities.

SIGN HERE – Help us to end the use of cetaceans for public entertainment

This must be the last generation of dolphins and whales held in confinement – help us end captivity today
